Montrose recorded a victory over Cowdenbeath despite finishing the match with nine men.

Callum MacDonald came closest for Montrose in the opening exchanges, heading wide from a corner. At the other end, Fraser Mullen blasted over the bar from the edge of the box.
Cowdenbeath upped the tempo in the second half, Scott Rumsby heading over when unmarked.
They then passed up a pair of golden opportunities to equalise. Craig Johnston hit the post, and in the melee to clear or score from the rebound, Brett was tripped in the box by Greg Pascazio. Kris Renton stepped up to take the penalty, but Millar dived to his left and palmed the ball to safety.
Smith shot straight at McGurn in the 56th minute and again in the 57th minute when under pressure.
