CAVANAGH EARNS NEW CONTRACT AT LINKS PARKMontrose FC have resigned Danny Cavanagh on a 1 year deal following recent impressive performances in the Betfred Cup.
The 24 year old returned to the Gable Endies for his second spell last summer but unfortunately due to a lengthy injury the midfielder was unable to break into the first team.
However, Mo Boss Stewart Petrie kept faith in the ex-Broughty Athletic man, who returned to pre-season completely refreshed, featuring as an Amateur in all 4 Betfred ties including scoring the winning goal against East Fife.
Stewart said, “I am delighted Danny has done so well. He had a tough time last season, but his determination to get fit over the summer has really paid off and he looks back to his energetic, sharp self.”
