Montrose FC Women are delighted to announce signing of Northern Ireland International Goalkeeper Lauren Perry from SWPL rivals Dundee United.

Perry, who made her international debut for Northern Ireland back in 2018 becomes Craig’s first summer signing ahead of the new SWPL 23/24 campaign.

Lauren Perry, started her career at Linfield where she made her Champions League debut in the 2017-18 qualifying rounds before being named ‘Women’s Premiership Player Of The Year and NIFWA Women’s Personality Of the Year. Perry, then made moves to Blackburn Rovers, local neighbours Forfar Farmington before joining her previous club Dundee United back in 2021 where she lifted in the SWPL2 title.

Manager Craig Feroz commented “We are absolutely delighted to have signed such a top-class keeper. Lauren is a player I have admired since I began my coaching career in women’s football and although still very young, Lauren is vastly experienced having played at the highest level of the game. Lauren’s experience will be vital as we step up and face the new SWPL campaign this season. We are all really excited to welcome Lauren to the club and I am sure it will be a successful season for her as she aims to push back into the Northern Ireland internaitonal set up after facing a ACL injury.”

Welcome to the MO Lauren!
