Craig Brown made his 100th appearance for Montrose FC in last months away fixture at the Meadowbank Stadium against Edinburgh City.

Brown arrived at Links Park from the University of Stirling back in the summer of 2021, making 20 appearances in the early part of his first season, mainly from the bench, before enjoying a half term loan at then Lowland League outfit Spartans FC, where he gained valuable game time and experience.

Returning to first team action for the commencement of last season, the 24 year old has gone on to make a further 80 appearances for Stewart Petrie’s men, also chipping in with 13 goals.

Presenting Craig with his trophy, Director Andy Stirling said, “It is great to see Craig reach this milestone. He brings real energy and tenacity to the midfield and always looks dangerous when driving forward with his pace, providing a genuine goal threat from central areas. We look forward to Craig continuing to develop, playing many more games and scoring lots more goals for the Mighty MO,”
