We are delighted to announce, young fans favourite Georgia Carter hit a century of apperances for Montrose FC Women at our away 3-0 win against Hamilton back in May.

Defender Georgia Carter said “I am proud to reach over 100 appearances for the club and be able to join Montrose on a journey from Championship to SWPL1. It has left me with loads of great memories including being part of the ‘invincibles’ team and playing alongside some really talented players and people. We have put Montrose on the map and hopefully continue to do so!”

Manager Feroz added “Firstly congratulations to Geo for reaching this milestone. Georgia has definitely been one of my best signings I have made as manager. She is a model professional and has been an ever present player whilst winning two league titles at different levels and also played a huge part of our premier league survival team last season. A feat that is not easy in any sport, to be able to continually adapt and flourish as the level of opponent improves – I am extremely proud of her and thankful for her contribution.”

On behalf of the club, Associate Director Ross Thomson recently presented Georgia with a personalised embroidered home MFCW strip signed by the first team squad.
