Montrose FC Women are excited to announce Archie Anderson as their new Media Co-Ordinator. Current Media Co-Ordinator, Codie Petrie, has taken on the role of Team Secretary, and delivering our social media content on top of that was not sustainable. Archie will also be joined by two additional recruits Aaron Connell (Graphic Designer) and Ryan Hunter (Matchday Media).

Archie joined the club in the summer of 2023 and last season helped out in numerous different roles within the media team including being our commentator for our live streamed home games. Ryan is involved with the mens team as one of the matchday mascots and Aaron is a content creator across many social media accounts.

Archie said โ€œI am delighted to be the new Media Coordinator at what is a fantastic womenโ€™s club. I would like to thank Codie for giving me this opportunity. Since being with the club I have met some great people and Iโ€™m very grateful to be given the role of Media Co-ordinator. Aaron is someone I know through my media team role at Youth Football Scotland and I couldnโ€™t be happier that he has joined us as our graphic designer. When Codie said I could take over I knew I would need to have someone to help me with the match day media content and updates and Ryan is the perfect person for the job as he is someone who I have worked with before on many occasions and I know how committed and passionate he and Aaron are about the work they do. Having Ryan and Aaron join the team will really strengthen the media capabilities at the club. โ€

Codie Petrie added “I’m delighted to welcome Archie, Ryan & Aaron to the MFC Women’s Media Team. I’ve been doing this role solo for a couple of season’s now and with the success of the team on the pitch, the workload has grown and grown and it was just the right time to bring in some additional pairs of hands and I couldn’t think of a better appointment than a group of youths who are looking to grow their experience in media. I know my role will be in very good hands, and i’m excited to see the work that these guys come up with to help grow our social media engagement with the fansโ€
