Montrose FC Women are delighted to announce that Ashley Milne has now been recalled from her loan spell at Inverurie Loco Works to join the first-team squad.

The goalkeeper first caught the eye of manager Craig Feroz during a pre-season friendly. Ashley agreed terms with Montrose last August before returning to Inverurie on loan to continue her development and gain valuable first-team experience.

Following her loan spell with Locos, Ashley has now been recalled and has joined the Montrose first team, where she has already impressed in training with her attitude, application, and promising talent.

Manager Craig Feroz said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have Ashley join the first-team squad. She’s been excellent to work with in training and it’s been great to see her development over the first half of the season. She’s a talented young goalkeeper with a lot of potential, and I’m confident she’ll continue to grow with us. I’d also like to thank Stuart and everyone at Inverurie Loco Works for their cooperation throughout the loan period — it’s been a really positive relationship between the two clubs.”
