Montrose FC have agreed a fee with Turriff United for the transfer of striker Connor May, subject to SFA approval.

May was signed by Manager Stewart Petrie back in August on a one-year deal following the 18-year-olds departure from Portsmouth FC.

The Aberdeen-born forward made 11 appearances for the Gable Endies and scored in a 2-1 away win against Stirling Albion in the KDM Evolution Trophy in September.

Manager Stewart Petrie commented, “Connor has done well since he came in, but really needs to be playing more minutes at this stage of his career, and this move will give him that opportunity.

“We wish Connor well for the future and thank everyone at Turriff United for making this move happen so quickly.”
