Montrose FC Women are delighted to announce the signing of experienced forward Hannah Stewart from Aberdeen FC Women ahead of the upcoming season.

Hannah arrives at Links Park after an impressive spell with Aberdeen FC Women. Prior to that, she enjoyed successful spells with Aberdeen Ladies and Glasgow City, building a wealth of experience at the highest level of the Scottish women’s game.

A natural leader on and off the pitch, Hannah captained Aberdeen FC Women and will reunite with former vice-captain Francesca Ogilvie, who also joined the club this summer.

Hannah’s quality has also been recognised on the international stage, having represented Scotland at Under-19 level during the 2014/15 campaign, where she found the back of the net on multiple occasions.

Speaking after putting pen to paper with the Mighty Mo, Hannah said: “I am absolutely delighted to sign for Montrose. There’s a real family feel and that stood out to me from the start. From the outside, you can see a real team spirit and togetherness here, and that’s something I wanted to be part of. I can’t wait to get started, contribute to the team, and see what we can achieve together this season.”

Manager Craig Feroz added: “Delighted to add Hannah to the squad. She’s a player with huge experience at the top level and a proven goalscorer. I think having the type of experience Hannah possesses will be priceless next season. We have now created a really experienced squad and, with a few more additions, I think we can give a very good account of ourselves.”
