Clyde 1 Montrose 2

Montrose took an early lead when Garry Wood headed onto the Clyde net after only six minutes, but this was quickly cancelled out by Kevin Watt 5 minutes later to even the scores at 1-1. Although Clyde tried to grab another goal with the home crowd cheering them on, it was Montrose who snatched the winner late in the second half when Terry Masson scored with a low shot.
A good three points for the Mo and two away wins on the trot. Hopefully a decent crowd will turn out for the East Fife game at Links Park to see if the corner is turned and Montrose can seriously be considered play off contenders. Messrs Shields, Wilkie and the current squad a players, including the stronger line up on the bench these days, surely deserve more support from the terraces.
