GABLE ENDIES SECURE THIRD LOAN SPELL FOR IMPRESSIVE YOUNG SAINT
Talented St Johnstone midfielder Cammy Ballantyne has returned once more to Links Park on a half season loan until January.
The 21 year old has spent the majority of the last two seasons as a loanee in Stewart Petrie’s side, making 50 appearances and scoring 6 goals, including vital strikes against both Falkirk and Partick Thistle back in May, helping secure a third consecutive play-off place for the Angus side.
The former Hibs youth featured briefly for the Perth side earlier this season in both the Challenge and League cups and made the bench for all four of the Saint’s exciting European qualifying fixtures against Galatasaray and Lask in August.
Petrie said, “Cammy has been incredibly consistent for us over the last two seasons, providing drive, energy and craft to the midfield. We have built a great relationship with St Johnstone and I would like to thank Callum once again for helping us get this deal over the line.”
