Hegarty Makes Sixth Local Signing
Montrose FC Manager Paul Hegarty continued the building of a locally based squad with the signing of Laurencekirk youngster Adam McWilliam.
The 20 year old midfielder spent four years in the Dundee FC youth system under the then Head of Youth John Holt, before signing for Montrose U17's in 2012. Last year he left the Gable Endies and signed for Highland League outfit Cove Rangers and played in their league winning U20's side.
Adam is already a well know face at Links Park as his day job sees him coaching youngsters with Links Park Community Trust.
Adam's contract is initially until the end of January and brings the number of Hegarty signings from Angus and the Mearns to six following Terry Masson, Ryan Ferguson, Dale Reid, Jordan Reoch and Kyle McLeod.
