Montrose Port Authority have become the latest local company to partner with Montrose FC, with their name being anchored underneath the number on each of the home, away and third kit shirts.
Established in 1493, Montrose Port has developed over the centuries to establish its reputation as a leading centre of international trade and distribution throughout the UK. Today, with 1,000 metres of quayside, berths to a depth of 8 metres and large areas of storage, warehousing and office space, the Port Authority is a thriving support and service hub for the North Sea energy and shipping industries.
CEO, Tom Hutchison said, “We are always keen to help the local community and so we’re delighted to now be supporting Montrose FC in this way. Coming up to the Christmas break, the team is looking strong after an impressive unbeaten run and we wish them all the very best for the second half of the season.”
Club Chairman John Crawford added, “I am delighted to welcome Montrose Port Authority as our latest partner and would like to sincerely thank Tom and all his staff for their support and sponsorship. I very much hope this can become a longstanding relationship and I look forward to working together in the years ahead.”
