HAWKE MOVES ON
It was been confirmed that striker, Lewis Hawke has left the Club with his contract now at an end. The 26 year old arrived last year from Stirling Albion but has been unable to hold down a regular first team spot, making 9 appearances and scoring 2 goals, one against his previous club in the Betfred Cup and one against Nairn in the Scottish Cup.
Everyone at Montrose FC would like to thank Lewis for all his efforts and wish him all the best for the future.

THANKS TO ROBBIE & STU!
Robbie McGale and Stuart MacFarlane have now returned to parent clubs University of Stirling and Bo’ness United FC respectively.
The pair, who made 5 appearances from the bench collectively, were brought in at the end of March to provide options and depth to Petrie’s squad ahead of the hectic, fixture congested run-in.
All at Montrose FC would like to thank the pair for all their efforts and wish them all the best for the future - which in Stu’s case is continuing as our Sports Scientist.

ALL THE BEST CHRIS!
We would like to thank Chris Mochrie for all his efforts this season and wish him all the best for the future.
Chris signed from Premiership outfit Dundee United in October on a season long loan deal.
The Dundee born attacking midfielder became United's youngest ever first team player when making his debut as a substitute against Greenock Morton in May 2019, aged 16 years and 27 days.
During his time at Tannadice, the young starlet attended the Scottish Football Association Performance School programme, playing for Scotland under-16’s and under-17’s, scoring on his debut in a 2–0 win against Armenia in October 2019.
The impressive youngster made 24 appearances this season for the Gable Endies, scoring his first senior goal against Clyde back in November, followed up with a brilliant effort in the opening minutes against Fraserburgh in the Scottish Cup in April.

BEST WISHES BALLI!
We would like to thank loanee Cammy F Ballantyne for all his efforts this season and wish him all the best for the future.
The talented midfielder returned to Links Park last September for his second season long loan from Premiership side St Johnstone.
First time around, the former Hibs youth made 20 appearances and netted his first senior goal in a 4-3 home win against Peterhead before Covid cut the season short.
This term, he has added another 30 appearances, providing drive, energy and craft to the midfield as well as chipping in with 5 more goals, including the winner against Partick Thistle on the last day of the season, securing a Championship Play-Off spot for Stewart Petrie’s side.
The 20 year old was also recently voted the Loan Player of the Year by fans and can also lay claim to scoring the Club’s 6,000th league goal, with his fantastic strike against Falkirk at the start of May.

THANK YOU HARRY!
We would like to thank loanee Harry Cochrane for all his efforts this season and wish him all the best for the future.
Harry arrived from Hearts at the end of October, initially on a half season loan, which was extended following the re-start in March.
As a Scotland youth internationalist, Cochrane represented his country at under-14, 15, 16, 17 and 19 level, and broke into the Hearts senior side in 2017 as a 16-year-old, scoring his first goal in a memorable 4-0 home win against Celtic that year.
With injuries temporarily hindering the talented youngster’s development, a loan spell at Dunfermline last season saw the beginning of his recovery, which he has very much continued at Links Park.
Having made 14 appearances, Harry has shown an ability to be a creative midfielder who likes to dictate play from deep positions as well as making forays into the opposition box.
