GABLE ENDIES UNVEIL WINNING DESIGN OF NEW KIT VOTE
Montrose FC have unveiled their new home strip for the next two seasons following a fans vote. The winning design was presented to main sponsor Carnegie Fuels in front of a full Corporate Hospitality crowd after last weekend’s match against Raith Rovers.
The Club recently announced their decision to move from Nike to Hummel and supporters were given the chance to choose their favourite of 4 proposed designs.
Operations Manager Davey Byrne said, “It’s been a long time since the fans have had a say in picking a strip, and the response was brilliant with supporters voting in their hundreds.
The royal blue top comes with white sleeves and distinctive blue Hummel chevrons. The strip is completed with blue shorts which carry contrasting white chevrons and all white socks.
Davey continued, “Hummel, through Football Nation will shortly be refitting out the Club Shop at Links Park and creating a new online shop for the sale of all official Hummel MFC merchandise.
“All going to plan, we expect to have the new kit on sale early in July.”
