We've had a number of enquiries over the last few days with regards to Season Ticket collection, and can now provide you with an update.
We expect to take delivery of the tickets at some point today, however this is at the mercy of the courier.
Firstly, we would like to assure you that ALL those who have purchased a Season Ticket for the upcoming season WILL gain entry to the Formartine Game on Saturday. If your card has not arrived, or you haven't had a chance to collect it, simply head to the season ticket gate as normal. The turnstile operator will have a record of all Season Ticket Holders.
Secondly, we'd like to apologise for what has been a more protracted process than we'd hoped. The transition to digital was never likely to be straightforward, and hopefully the delay in delivery is the only glitch in the journey.
To try explain the situation as succinctly as possible: the club took that decision when moving to digital, that we would do everything possible to ensure that there was no impact financially on our supporters. As with all ticketing and payment systems, there are various fees involved per transaction, and the club made the decision to make every effort not to pass these costs on to you, the supporters. In order to do this, we sought sponsorship for the season tickets to help absorb these costs. This process took a little longer than we had hoped, with the agreements being tied up as late as last week. This in turn impacted the design of the tickets, and in turn the printing.
It is our hope that our season ticket holders are understanding of the situation, and please be in no doubt that you will gain entry to Links Park on Saturday.
