GABLE ENDIES SECURE TOP STRIKER ON 2 YEAR DEAL
With spells at both Celtic and Rangers in his younger days, the 29 year old fans favourite arrived at Links Park last summer from Perth based junior side Jeanfield Swifts.
Making an instant impact in returning to senior football, Fraser made 39 appearances and scored 19 goals, missing only one game through suspension.
Manager Paul Hegarty said, “I am delighted Gary has agreed to extend his contract. He is a key player for us and finishing third highest scorer in the league behind Nathan Austin and Craig Gunn is a great achievement.
“With goalscorers hard to come by, a number of teams were very keen on Gary and it speaks volumes for this club that he has chosen to commit his future here for the next two years.
“Our squad for next season is shaping up nicely and we hope to announce further additions shortly.”
Before his time at Jeanfield Swifts, Gary was with Broughty Athletic, Montrose Roselea, Kinnoull Juniors, Dundee Downfield and Dundee Violet. Prior to this he spent two seasons with Forfar Athletic.
This brings Hegarty’s signings for next season to 13 following the recent contract extension of Ryan Ferguson.
