Paul Shares Hopes and Aspirations with Season Ticket Holders
Montrose FC fans snapped up their new season tickets last week at a launch event that saw Manager Paul Hegarty and a number of Club Directors in attendance. Paul shared with the group the amount of work he has been doing during the close season to identify and attract the right players to the Club. Whilst progress has not been as swift as he would like he remains confident of completing his squad soon. Fans also got the chance to see the ongoing progress of the replacement artificial surface.

Chairman Derek Sim said, “I would like to thank all those fans who have already purchased their season tickets and I would encourage everyone else to take advantage of our Early Bird discounts which ends on Sat 11th July.
“We very much hope to bring play-off excitement to Links Park again this season, but this time of the promotion nature. Everyone at the Club is working extremely hard to make this happen, but as the Brora game proved, we can’t do it without the support of our fantastic fan base.
“Season ticket sales are very important to us and really set the tone for our season providing a cash injection at a time when we are looking to build a new squad. I hope therefore that many of you will continue to support your local club and buy a season ticket for the coming year.”
Season tickets will also be available from the Club’s NEW outlet, The Home Dugout at 72 Murray Street, which officially opens this Sat (4th July) at 10am. To mark the opening, fans will also be able to get their hands of the fantastic new home and away kits for the coming season as well entering into a prize draw for Hospitality at Links Park.
Proprietor of The Home Dugout and Club Director David Laing explained, “The Club has been in need of a presence in the centre of the town for a long time now. I am delighted with the way the store looks and going forward we will be guided by what our customers want. This will hopefully make it easier for our fans and supporters to buy merchandise, purchase hospitality and sponsorship and keep up with all things Montrose FC.”
The Home Dugout, which will be open Thu, Fri and Sat 10am to 4:30pm will also stock a selection of golf wear and retro football jerseys.
Season tickets are available for conventional ground entry as well as for entry to the Willie Johnston Lounge, where members can enjoy pre and post match bar facilities, complimentary programme, teamlines and half time refreshments.
In an enhancement to last year, ground entry season tickets will also allow the entry of up to two accompanying Under 16’s for just £2 each.
Early Bird Ground Prices: Adults £175.00, OAP/Under 16 £90.00
Early Bird Willie Johnston Lounge Prices: Adults £295.00, OAP/Under 16 £195.00
After Saturday 11th July normal prices will apply.
Standard Ground Prices: Adults £195.00, OAP/Under 16 £100.00
Standard Willie Johnston Lounge Prices: Adults £325.00, OAP/Under 16 £215.00
League admission prices, same as last season, will be £12.00 for an Adult and £6.00 for an OAP/Under 16.
Family entry will also be available for one Adult and one Under 16 for £15.00.
