Montrose FC have offered youngsters Luca Giacomini, Callum Grant and Cammy Middleton one year deals as all three graduate from the Links Park Youth Academy.

Luca came through the Dundee FC youth system before a spell with Arbroath Lads Club before signing for Montrose in 2020. The 18 year old midfielder has made 5 appearances from the bench this campaign, most recently away at Queen of the South.

Callum, Montrose born and bred, began his football journey with Montrose Youth before joining the Gable Endies Academy in 2020. The 17 year old midfielder has made 4 appearances from the bench this campaign, again most recently away at Queen of the South.

Cammy had spells with East End Lewis, Huntly and Aberdeen before making the journey south to Angus in 2021. The 18 year old Aberdeen born goalie made his first team debut last season, coming off the bench against Alloa Athletic and has spent the latter part of this campaign on loan at local junior side Montrose Roselea.

Assistant Manager Ross Campbell said, “We are delighted to be able to offer Luca, Callum and Cammy these one year deals. They have all shown potential over recent months, both in training with the first team and playing with our U18s. They will all report for pre-season training with us next month and we are excited to see how far they can go.”

This news further supports the Clubs commitment to its youth programme, following the recent 2 year contract extension of Academy Graduate goalkeeper Ross Matthews.
