Montrose FC Finance Manager Iain Bridges has been appointed Finance Director of the Club.

Iain joined the Board almost 2 years ago when previous Finance Director Tom Murray intimated his intentions to retire from the role. Following an extensive and detailed handover period, Iain took the reins in full back in February.

Club Chairman John Crawford said, “Iain has settled in very well and in such a short space of time, has become a key member of the Board. Keeping a handle on all aspects of a football clubs finances is no mean feat, but Iain is doing an incredible job and becoming our Finance Director will further strengthen his influence and impact.”

Iain added, “Since taking over from Tom, it has been a very busy time for the Club both on and off the field and I have really enjoyed the challenge.

“Being offered the chance to become a Director was an honour and one I was delighted to accept.”
