Today sees the funeral of one of our longstanding supporters, Bill Bruce, who sadly passed away recently.

After establishing himself as a successful local businessman, Bill went on to spend time abroad during his working career, but Montrose FC was never far from his thought’s, leading to him becoming a major shareholder in the Club.

On retiring and returning home, Bill ended up staying within a stones throw of Links Park, which allowed him to regularly visit Links Park, and even latterly, due to ill health, Bill was still able to catch a glimpse of the match day action from his bedroom window.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Bill’s family and friends at this sad and difficult time.
