Fettercairn Distillery have extended their support of Montrose FC, as Boardroom Sponsors for the sixth consecutive season.

Fettercairn, meaning ‘foot of the mountain’ is one of the oldest licenced distilleries in Scotland and those visiting the area will understand the foresight of the person who named the village. From ice-clear Grampian mountain spring water to barley grown from fertile soil, this is perfect whisky country and these natural qualities have been harnessed to produce a stunningly pure malt.

Distillery Manager Stewart Walker said, “We are delighted to be renewing our partnership with Montrose FC for another year and we wish the team every success for the rest of the season.”

Club Chairman John Crawford added, “On behalf of the Club I would like to thank Stewart and everyone at Fettercairn Distillery for their continued support. It is always humbling when sponsors are willing to extend their deals, and it has been a pleasure steadily building our relationship since 2017.

“The complimentary Fettercairn Malt in the Boardroom also remains a firm favourite and warmly received by many a visiting Director at the end of a game.”
