Given concerns expressed via various social media channels and forums, regarding the financial situation of Montrose FC, we can confirm the recent notice posted by Companies House relates purely to the overdue filing of a Confirmation Statement. 

This statement has nothing to do with the financial position of the Club and its delayed filing is due to a number of recent administrative and operational changes within the Club. 

This situation will be resolved in the coming days.

In the meantime we can assure all MO fans that, whilst financial challenges remain in line with many other clubs, our Club is in good financial health and continues to reap the benefits of our extensive operational review that was undertaken last summer. 

We look forward together, and positively to 2025 and another exciting second half of the season.
