Following the conclusion of the Lowland League last Saturday, both Ali Shrive and Craig Smith have returned from their short loan spells with Berwick Rangers.

With both players featuring in all of Berwick’s final fixtures and Craig chipping in with 2 goals along the way to help the Shielfield Park side avoid the threat of relegation, the game time has benefited all parties.

Craig said, “I really enjoyed my time at Berwick, playing minutes to get back from the injury was the most important thing and I played every minute available in the last 8 games. Everyone at the club was very welcoming and made the experience very enjoyable. Huge thanks to everyone involved at Berwick and I wish them all the best for the new season.”

Ali added, “I really enjoyed my time on loan at Berwick. I played 8 games in total, and we managed to secure safety from relegation in that time. It’s a great club and good group of people. I wish them all the best for the future.”
