Montrose FC is delighted to confirm that Assistant Manager Ross Campbell has agreed to a two-year contract extension, ensuring his stay at Links Park until at least 2027.

Campbell, who recently celebrated 10 years at the club, has been a pivotal figure in orchestrating, alongside Manager Stewart Petrie, the most successful period in the club’s 145-year history.

Their collective leadership has seen Montrose FC achieve remarkable milestones, including 6 promotion play-off finishes and the League 2 title in 2017/18, reinforcing the club’s reputation and ambitions for the future.

Speaking about the extension, Stewart explained, “Ross has been an invaluable part of our coaching team, bringing experience, leadership, and a deep understanding of the club’s vision.

“His commitment to Montrose FC is fantastic, and I’m thrilled he will continue to play a crucial role by my side in shaping our future together.”

Campbell’s continued presence is a testament to the club’s commitment to stability and progress as Montrose aims for further success in the coming seasons.

Ross added, “I have thoroughly enjoyed my ten years at the club and would like to thank Stewart, the wider staff and players, Board and fans for their continued support.
