Brothers Chris and Andrew Mochrie came face to face competitively last week as Montrose took on Airdrieonians in the last 16 of the KDM Evolution Trophy.

22-year-old Chris made 21 appearances for the Gable Endies back in 2020-21, whilst on loan from Dundee United. A season long loan followed at East End Park with Dunfermline Athletic before joining Airdrieonians in 2024, where he has made close on 50 appearances since.

5 years his junior, brother Andrew is part of the Montrose Club Academy, and this season has broken into Stewart Petrie’s side with 3 appearances from the bench along with a full debut at home against Hibernian B back in November in the group phase of the KDM Evolution Trophy.
