On loan dynamic midfielder Callum Sandilands dominated proceedings at Montrose FC’s End of Season Awards presentation evening at the weekend, held in association with the MFC Supporters Club.

The 20-year-old, who has thoroughly enjoyed his second season on loan at Links Park from Premiership side Heart of Midlothian, walked off with an impressive four trophies, including Loan Player of the Year, Fans Player of the Year and the most prestigious of all, Players Player of the Year. With 12 goals to his name, Callum was also Top Goalscorer, but was forced to share the award with Ewan Loudon, who had also netted a dozen times.

Blair Lyons, a double winner last year, once again bagged a brace, winning Young Fans Player of the Year and Stan Thornton Player of the Year (voted for by members of the Gable Endies Club).

Craig Brown righty won Goal of the Season for his 85^th minute thunderbolt winner from 25 yards in the five-goal thriller at Links Park against Queen of the South in March, whilst Kieran Freeman picked up the Supporters Club Committee Player of the Year.

Rounding off the award winners and playing in just his first season for the Gable Endies, striker Ewan Loudon bagged a hattrick, winning Young Player of the Year, Directors Player of the Year, as well as sharing the Top Goalscorer award with Callum.
