Montrose FC midfielder Harry Craig has returned to Links Park following the conclusion of his half season loan spell with Highland League side Banks o’ Dee.

This ends a yearlong development phase for the local 18-year-old, who secured his first pro-contract with the Gable Endies last summer.

Having played 13 times on loan for Angus neighbours Brechin City at the start of the last campaign, a switch to Banks o’ Dee in January provided another 16 outings for the highly talented youngster.

Manager Stewart Petrie said, “Harry will have benefited greatly from getting almost 30 games under his belt between his two loan spells this past season, and we thank everyone at both Brechin and Banks o’ Dee for making this happen.

“We now look forward to welcoming him back and seeing him kick on again in pre-season to stake a claim for more first team football next season.”
