Making History, Together 💙

Some moments in football mean more than the result. They become part of a family’s story, and part of a club’s history.

Following our historic Scottish Cup Semi-Final at Hampden back in May, Neve Guthrie etched her name into the history books by following in the footsteps of her grandad, Charlie Guthrie, in the famous Montrose colours.

Back in 1975, Charlie Guthrie proudly wore the Montrose shirt at Hampden Park in the League Cup Semi-Final against Rangers.

Fast forward 51 years, and his granddaughter, Neve Guthrie, walked out onto that very same stage wearing the same badge with the same pride, representing Montrose FC in our Scottish Cup Semi-Final against Rangers.

What are the chances? Two generations, one family, one club, one iconic stage.

Moments like these remind us that football is about so much more than what happens on the pitch. It’s about family, tradition, and the memories that are passed down through generations.

Once a Mo, always a Mo.
