Montrose FC have confirmed that talented defender Aidan Quinn is to join League 2 outfit East Fife on a half season loan deal until the summer (subject to SFA approval).

Since arriving at Links Park in 2020, from East of Scotland League side Heriot Watt University, the 23 year old has impressed and steadily developed whilst notching up 61 first team appearances.

This season the Dunfermline born centre half has had limited opportunities due to a series of injuries, but now fully fit, the Club are keen to get Aidan back on track with more regular, meaningful game time.

Petrie said, “This is the right move at the right time and I know Aidan will benefit greatly from a spell with Greig and the boys at Methil. I have said before Aidan plays with a maturity beyond his years and has a very bright future, which is why we have him contracted with us for another year and a half.”
