What a truly momentous 10 months it has been for the club. Securing our top-flight status with three matches to spare is something that few outside Links Park would have believed possible.

Our maiden game against Celtic in August was a real baptism of fire and despite a few more painful defeats against the top sides, we started to find out feet and our first confidence boosting win away to Dundee United in September was quickly followed by a superb cup tie win over Motherwell, a quite incredible 3-3 draw against Hearts and a very unlucky 1-0 midweek away defeat to last seasons champions Glasgow City.

We performed very well in the cup competitions, progressing to the last eight of both. We were unlucky to face Celtic in our Scottish Cup QF, as we could possibly have made Hampden if the draw had been kinder.

The most rewarding part of the season has been our form post-split, when three consecutive league wins pushed us up the league table. It has been a remarkable effort to finish 9th from Craig and his backroom team, Neil, Richie, Lotte, Gemma, Gregor, Jeb and Darren and every player that has pulled on a Mo shirt this season. I could not be prouder of what they have achieved in the face of adversity.

None of what has been achieved would have been possible without the unwavering support of our brilliantly loyal and vocal fans and the valuable financial support of our sponsors. I would like to thank all of you for being with us on this journey and hope that we can scale even greater heights together next season.

A huge amount of work goes on in the background to run a top tier club. Thank you to the Board of Montrose FC for allowing us access to top class facilities and to call for assistance from Martin and the Ops Team when needed, but most of all, I want to thank the small band of unpaid volunteers who give up their precious time for the club they love. Please join me in acknowledging Codie, Tracy, Andrew, Ross, Archie and not forgetting our very own Wombles, Robin & Ali, who ensure Links Park is nice and tidy for our home games. Your hard work and dedication this season has been incredible. You are all superstars.
