Montrose FC have agreed a season long loan with Championship side Raith Rovers for talented young left sided wing back Callum Hannah.

The promising Fife Elite Football Academy graduate and Scottish Schools internationalist spent time as a pro-youth with Dunfermline Athletic before landing a two-year deal at Starks Park last summer.

Featuring a handful of times for Ian Murray in the first half of last season, including a substitute appearance against Montrose in the SPFL Trust Trophy in October, a loan deal with Lowland League outfit Albion Rovers was arranged in February which brought the 19-year-old valuable game time and experience.

Manager Stewart Petrie said, “We are delighted to welcome Callum to Links Park. Everyone at Raith consider him a very exciting prospect and we believe he can do very well here. We look forward to working with him to further develop his potential.
