At the end of our first season in top tier Scottish football, midfielder Flo Bruce successfully reached her 100th appearance for Montrose FC Women after being named in the starting eleven in our last home fixture of the season vs Spartan’s, when the club secured it’s 9th spot finish!

Midfielder Flo Bruce said ” I am delighted to have reached my 100th appearance for this club. I have been here 4 years now and have been lucky enough to see the improvements that the club have made towards the women’s team from when I joined till now, and how us as players (new and old) have progressed over the seasons. A lot has happened in my 4 years – making over 100 appearances, winning 2 league titles, a few goals here and there and not forgetting having the privilege to play alongside a great bunch of girls and coaching staff.”

Manager Feroz added “Many congratulations to Flo for reaching this milestone. I think she deserves huge credit for what she has achieved in the game. It takes a lot of determination and sacrifice to come from her local club Deveronvale to now have played against the biggest teams and best players in the country in the top division, whilst picking up two leagues titles along the way. Again I am extremely proud of Flo, and I am sure her and her family will look back at this period with fondness and great pride when she comes to the end of her career which I am sure will be a long long time from now, with many more great moments still to come along the way.”

On behalf of the club, Associate Director Ross Thomson recently presented Flo with a personalised embroidered home MFCW strip signed by the first team squad.
