Montrose FC striker Ben Maciver-Redwood has chosen to leave the Club following a change in his personal circumstances.

Arriving last summer from Lowland League side University of Stirling, the 23-year-old has made 35 appearances for the Gable Endies and scored 3 goals.

Assistant Manager Ross Campbell explained, “Ben has received a good job opportunity down south which will allow him to move closer to his family. Whilst we are of course disappointed to lose him, we naturally fully respect his decision to leave the Club, and wish him well for the future.”

Ben added, “It has been tough to say goodbye to the boys, and I would like to thank the coaches and everyone at LP for the opportunity and support over the last season, but it’s now time for me to be a bit closer to family after being away for 5 years now.”
