Montrose FC Women can confirm the departure of Holly Daniel, who leaves the club to take the next exciting step in her football journey by signing her first full-time professional contract with Aberdeen FC Women.

Holly joined the club during the 2022/23 season and quickly made her mark — scoring her debut goal against Stirling University and going on to become a key figure in our squad. Since then, she has made over 50 appearances for the Mighty Mo and found the back of the net 20 times for the club.

Alongside her contributions at club level, Holly has also gained valuable international experience, earning 2 caps for Scotland Women’s U16s and 6 caps at U17 level — a testament to her talent and potential.

We are incredibly proud to have played a part in Holly’s development and we are delighted to see her take this well-deserved opportunity at the next level.
