Montrose FC Women are delighted to welcome midfielder Ashley Robertson to the club on loan from Hearts – the second Hearts player to link up with us this summer.

A talented and dynamic addition to our squad, Ashley brings not only technical quality but valuable international experience. The 19-year-old has represented Scotland across multiple age groups, earning 1 cap at U16 level, an impressive 13 caps at U17s, and 3 at U19s.

Ashley spent the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Dundee United Women, where she made a significant impact — her performances earned her the Young Player of the Year award at the club.

Now ready for her next challenge, Ashley arrives at Montrose eager to make her mark again in the SWPL.

Manager Feroz commented “Ashley is a player with huge potential. Having watched her last season, I admired how, for such a young girl, she always wanted the ball and tried to dictate the game. Even in the early pre-season sessions I can see she is a player who will add so much value to the squad.”

Ashley will wear the number 19 shirt for the upcoming season.
