Montrose FC Women are proud to announce that we have been ranked second-best club in the top flight of Scottish Women’s Football for overall fan experience—a remarkable achievement for one of the newest clubs in the league.

This ranking comes from an anonymous visit by The Fan Experience Company towards the tail end of last season. From navigating our website and social media channels, to arriving at Links Park, enjoying the matchday atmosphere and watching the action on the pitch, every aspect of the matchday journey was assessed. 

To be placed second in the entire league, despite being the club with one of the lowest budgets, a young history at this level, and a small but mighty team behind the scenes, is an achievement we’re incredibly proud of. Montrose FC Women is a club that continues to defy the odds, not just with our on-field efforts, but through our deep commitment to creating an inclusive, exciting and memorable fan experience.

What makes this all the more special is that it’s a recognition of the hard work put in off the pitch. A small group of passionate and dedicated volunteers are the backbone of the matchday operation—working tirelessly behind the scenes to keep this team visible, vibrant, and thriving.

This is just the beginning. We’re continuing to build, innovate and improve. We’re already planning exciting additions and fresh experiences for the season ahead, because our loyal supporters deserve the very best.
